Sadness sparks

Sadness sparks
that energy everlasting
a welt of wounds
shallow, deep
compounding
manifesting
creation
that is life
making us be.
Sadness plunges
the soul down
to that home
of sensitivity
conceiving no ills
but them all.
To break through sadness
to mend the tears
that wet separation
only to be chucked back
treading
enclosed
inescapable.
Remembering finality
to resuscitate
that wet flame.
