Survival School Scholarship
Feb 15, 2017, 10:26a - Life

Nearly 10 years ago, I did one of the best things I have ever done in my entire life. I went to 28-day Survival School in Utah. I have written much about it on this blog, and I have talked about it with so many of my family and friends. I have managed to "persuade" (though I don't think they needed much persuasion) 5 of my dearest friends to go.

Returning from survival school made me feel a way that I had never thought I could feel, a way that I never remembered ever feeling in my whole life. Since then I have wanted to help others achieve this feeling, because it is a feeling I think most people have never experienced. It is a feeling that, at least for me, fundamentally changed my view of my life.

3 years ago, in an effort to help others have the experience of survival school, I started funding a scholarship for students to take the 28-day course. I have funded 4 students so far, and I am looking forward to funding 1 or 2 more students this summer. If you are interested in doing survival school, and you have some but not all of the money to go, please apply. The deadline is March 5, 2017.

Hi Nikhil, i hope your family is well. This is Alicia, your old teacher Tommy Baker, significant other. We met in late August when you came to Paso Robles. I dont know if you remember but my son was in crisis and in the hospital. Im happy to tell you that hes made much progress since then. Tommy shared a few things that you told him when you went to survival school and I think Ezra would benefit greatly from an experience like that at this time in his life. Please consider my son for this journey. Thankfully, Alicia
