Meepster
May 1, 2005, 8:31p

My friends Sachin Agarwal and Aki Jain recently launched a new website for buying and selling goods and services, called Meepster and available at meepster.org. They've been working on it for more than half a year.

The site's goal is to provide a marketplace for people to buy and sell stuff, similar to craigslist and ebay. They weren't happy with the limited functionality of craigslist and the difficult user interface of ebay, so they decided to write Meepster. Meepster includes many features that craigslist doesn't have, such as user accounts, a ratings system to see how trustworthy a seller or buyer is, the ability to ask the seller questions that are published publicly, and other nifty tricks.

The site is currently growing, so buy or sell something today!
