Google Desktop 2 with Sidebar

Yesterday Google released the next version of Google Desktop, which I've been working on for some time now.
The new version includes a Sidebar that shows new email, personalized news, RSS feeds, a photo slideshow, and real-time stock and weather information. It also includes a scratch pad for jotting down quick notes, and a set of APIs so that independent developers can write plug-ins to display new information in Sidebar.
Other significant new features include Quick Find which shows search results instantly as-you-type and the Outlook Toolbar which lets you search your email directly within Outlook. You can also search your Gmail, network drives, MSN Messenger chats, and Outlook data (contact, calendar, tasks, notes, and journal).
